Fishmonger Ruud Den Haan<\/h2>\n

You can go to Vishandel Ruud Den Haan for steamed mackerel to lobster and caviar. They drive themselves to Scheveningen, where they select and purchase the fish. Back in Rotterdam they process the fish, to eventually sell to their private customers. So from start to finish, the product is in the hands of the fish trade. <\/p>\n

Even though the Den Haan brothers love to introduce various exotic and special fish to their customers, the archetypal Dutch herring is still their main focus. It all started all those years ago with the real Rotterdam ‘harinkie’. This could be obtained from the legendary fish cart ‘Het Haantje’ on the Noordplein in Rotterdam. <\/p>\n

That the herring is still central to them today is also reflected in the quality: the fishmonger’s shop won the AD’s Herring Test in 2017. Not only that, but their herring was also awarded a perfect 10 as the final grade. <\/p>\n

Ensuring quality with printed gel packs<\/h2>\n

“It is not only nice for the customers that the fish that eventually ends up on their plates is of good quality, but also for us. After all, this keeps them coming back to us. Because we are known for the good quality of our fish, people from all over the Netherlands come to Vishandel Ruud Den Haan to buy their fresh fish. When people buy the fish from us they receive a cooler bag with them and in it our printed gel packs.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Good cooperation<\/h2>\n

Fishmonger Ruud Den Haan came to Coolpack via the Internet. They were looking for gel packs that they could print with their own logo. At Coolpack this can be done very easily and quickly. <\/p>\n

The printed gel packs are not only good for the quality of the fish, but also give extra charisma to the company. Christian: “The customers are also super satisfied with the free gel packs. They then reuse the gel packs themselves at home, which in turn generates extra advertising. People also save up these gel packs and bring them back. Moreover, since we have been giving gel packs with our own logo, many more gel packs are returned than before.”<\/em> <\/p>\n
