Coolpack cooling elements: quality and reliability
At Coolpack, we supply cooling elements that do not leak, even during intensive transportation, and always ensure consistent cooling performance.
This element will keep your products chilled between 0 ºC and 8 ºC for at least 24 hours, when used in conjunction with well-insulated packaging, such as our reusable EPP coolers.
Homegrown production
Our cooling elements are produced in Assendelft, where we also provide the filling. We can fill the element with refrigerated fillings with a eutectic melting point between -65 ºC and +89 ºC. This makes them suitable for everything from frozen transport to ambient shipping.

Our cooling elements are an eco-friendly alternative to single-use gel packs. They are made of sturdy HDPE, reusable and fully recyclable. Want to go one step further? Then choose one of our sustainable alternatives:
-rHDPE: Manufactured from at least 90% recycled material, with a fully recyclable life cycle
-Biobased: Made from renewable raw materials such as sugar cane – food safe and recyclable

Recycling Instructions
You can reuse this cooling element many times. Is it at the end of its service life?
Then follow these simple steps:
1.Allow the element to defrost
2. Discard the stuffing in the residual waste
3. Recycle the HDPE exterior in the plastic waste

Yes, the HDPE material is food safe and recyclable.
How can I dispose of the cooling element in an environmentally friendly way?
When the cooling element has reached its lifetime, allow it to thaw, remove the filling and recycle the outer bottle in plastic waste. The outer bottle is made of fully recyclable HDPE.

As standard, it is filled with a coolant with an eutectic melting point around 0 °C.
Can I also use the cooling element for frozen foods?
Yes, this cooling element is also suitable for frozen transport. We supply fillings with a eutectic point down to -65 ºC, which allows you to transport frozen products safely and without loss of quality.
