Cooling elements: the indispensable link in thermal packaging

Coolpack’s products are an indispensable link when it comes to thermal packaging. Cooling elements are mainly used within the validated thermal packaging packaging solution. With the right outer packaging, a very stable temperature can be maintained for a long period of time, namely up to a period of 120 hours. To achieve this, the cooling elements can be filled with Phase Change Material (PCM). Due to the high quality of this filling, it is possible to achieve stable temperatures within a temperature range of -65 to +42 degrees.

If a more flexible coolant is preferred, our frozen gel packs can also be used to keep the products to be shipped at the right temperature. The gel packs can also be filled with PCM to maintain very stable temperatures for a long period of time.

Customized thermal packaging

To guarantee the quality of temperature-sensitive products, a predetermined stable temperature range must be maintained during transport. For example, a temperature range of 2-8 degrees or 15-25 degrees can be maintained. Also when the shipment is exposed to a range of changing external conditions.

Binnen de gevalideerde thermal packaging verpakkingsoplossing worden met name koelelementen gebruikt. Met de juiste buitenverpakking kan voor een lange periode een zeer stabiele temperatuur worden aangehouden, namelijk tot een periode van 120 uur.

Om dit te realiseren kunnen de koelelementen worden gevuld met Phase Change Material (PCM). Door de hoge kwaliteit van deze vulling is het mogelijk stabiele temperaturen te behalen binnen een temperatuurrange van -65 tot +42 graden.

Indien de voorkeur uitgaat naar een flexibeler koelmiddel kunnen onze diepgevroren gelpacks ook worden ingezet om de te verzenden producten op temperatuur te houden. The gel packs can also be filled with PCM to maintain very stable temperatures for a long period.
