EcoCoolBox medium 18L
The EcoCoolBox is a 100% paperbased insulation box with excellent insulation capacity. Several customers, such as YAYA Kombucha, use this environmentally conscious insulation packaging: after use, it can be completely recycled with the waste paper.
This EcoCoolBox is medium with a capacity of 18 liters. The ecological insulation box is kraft paper colored and has a loose lid. The medium size is also available in white. For frozen transport, we offer the EcoFreezeBox to: it has thicker walls and keeps a frozen shipment at temperature for a long time.
Materials of the EcoCoolBox
The EcoCoolBox is made of clean recycled cardboard fibers that are free of mineral oils. These are packaged in a flexible and breathable paper package. Cardboard fibers have excellent moisture regulation properties, reducing the impact of moisture in the environment surrounding the packaging. The cardboard fibers fully comply with European food contact guidelines.

- Moisture control of at least 8.8%: The paper fibers help reduce condensation inside the box. In high humidity, the fibers absorb excess moisture, keeping the inside of the box drier.
- Coefficient of thermal conductivity: λ = 0.036 W/(m.k): This indicates how well the material retains heat. A lower value means a higher insulation value.
- Specific heat: 2020 J/kg: This indicates how much energy the material can absorb while rising one degree Celsius in temperature. The higher this value, the more energy the material can store.
100% Recyclable
The EcoCoolBox is reusable and at the end of its life can be easily folded flat and disposed of with the waste paper. This makes the EcoCoolBox 100% recyclable.
